that enrich the cultural, service, and social opportunities
of our families. In addition, it facilitates communication
and helps parents become an integral part of their children's
education. Parents are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings
and to volunteer for the many activities sponsored throughout
the year. Contact Julie Romenesko for information.
Innisbrook

Children's
Educational Garden
Since
August of 2003, a plot of land on Fairview Avenue has been
transformed into a landscaped children's garden for all to
enjoy. The purpose of the garden is to foster an appreciation
of God's gifts so we become good stewards of the Earth. The
project is being executed by parish members with donated labor
and materials. The area is divided into three areas: children's
circle garden, contemplative garden, and woodland garden.
Scout and school groups regularly participate in planting
and learning experiences. To join the group or to make a contribution,
contact Hilary Denk at 724-9528 or at j.denk@comcast.net.
