LITURGY
OF THE WORD FOR CHILDREN Our
young children will have a special opportunity to hear the Word of God proclaimed
to them at their level of understanding. Beginning October 2nd, at the 8:30 and
10:15 AM Sunday Masses, the children will be called forth to hear the Gospel message
at their age level. We welcome anyone interested in assisting in this joyful ministry.

ALTAR SERVERS
Any
child who is entering the fifth grade or older is encouraged to be an altar server
at St. Mary's. Please contact the Religious Education Office if you are interested
in this ministry (630-960-3565).
CHILDREN'S CHORUS
St.
Mary's Children's choir sings once a month at the 8:30 AM Sunday Liturgy during
the school year. Any child, 3rd grade or older, is welcome. Information regarding
day and time of rehearsals will be sent home with the children after classes begin.

RAINBOWS FOR ALL GOD'S CHILDREN
The
RAINBOWS program is for all children who have experienced some loss - either
through divorce, the death of a parent, a grandparent, or even the loss of a friend
who moved away. During
the twelve weekly sessions, children are helped to better understand their feelings
via a small peer support group atmosphere led by trained adult facilitators. Rainbows
meets on Monday evenings from 6:00 - 6:45 PM. If you are interested in registering
to participate, or would just like to learn more about the program, please call
