Commission In
general, the Administration Commission oversees the "nuts and bolts" of St. Mary's
operations. This commission has the task of planning, providing for and supervising
the financial affairs and physical properties of the parish. It is concerned with
effective utilization of resources, the budget and church support. Budget
Committee Our fiscal year is July 1 through June 30.
This committee works with staff, the parish business manager and commission leadership
to develop and coordinate an annual budget that cost-effectively allocates anticipated
parish resources to meet parish expenditure needs. Finance
Committee Serves as a consultative body to control on-going expenses,
to increase revenues and to monitor the month-to-month financial health of the
parish. Responsibilities include reviewing the financial condition of all parish
programs to identify budget variances and provide analysis. Buildings
& Grounds Committee Inspects structures and equipment and identifies
the work that needs to be done. Looks for vendors to handle the work, solicits
bids, is involved in decision-making, supervision and control of work. Provides
input for the budgetary process and reviews problems concerning building and maintenance
situations. Computer/Technology
Committee Oversees the administration of the computer network system,
e-mail and internet access, as well as troubleshooting network problems and individual
workstation issues. Plans for the long-term development of the technology resources
for the parish complex. Also oversees the development and maintenance of St. Mary's
webpage. |
