The After School Care (ASC) program strives to provide a
safe, supportive and caring environment for your child if he or she is unable
to go straight home after school. The
program is open to all students either on a regular basis or as needed for
occasional care.
**Please
note the first day of After School Care
is on the first full day of school. ASC
is not available on any half days of school.**
Our afternoon includes:

Free time in gym
·
Quiet area for homework
·
Trips to Hummer Park - weather permitting
·
Snack that we provide
·
Toys & games
Registration:
If you are considering using
the ASC program, please pick up a registration form in the office, complete and
return it to the office. The form will
be kept on file with ASC personnel.
Please keep all information up-to-date especially emergency phone
contacts and any change in medical and allergy information.
If you are returning to ASC
you do not need to fill out a new form.
However, please let us know if there are any changes.
Staff:
Mrs. Erin Reed oversees the
program. Two adults will staff the
program whenever the child/adult ratio exceeds 8:1. Please be assured that we have great SMG moms
on staff that are dedicated to making ASC a good experience for your
child(ren).
Location:
The children are to check-in
with Mrs. Reed at the gym entrance right after school. Please tell your child to be prompt as we
will have to search buses and make phone calls if your child is expected and
does not show up in a timely manner.
From the gym we will go to the lower level of the Parish Center located
across the street from the school.

Time:
After
School Care ends at 5:50 pm. We appreciate your respect of this time and
pick up your child promptly so the supervisors can attend to their families and
schedules.
Reservations:
Please submit a completed
After School Care Reservation Form with payment to the office on MONDAY of the week your child(ren) will
attend. Please notify the school office
if you must cancel your reservation or we will assume your child should be with
us. Also, please be certain that your
child knows the days they are attend ASC.
Cost:
$14.00/day for the first
child
$7.00/day for each additional child
Payment is due on Monday
with the weekly reservation form
In the event of a delay in
pick-up, a late fee of $2.00 per minute after 5:50 pm will be charged.
Discipline:
The program adheres to the
same disciplinary policy as the school.
Students causing disruptive behavior will be disciplined, suspended at
the program for a time if deemed necessary or removed from the program. It is our goal to provide a wholesome and
safe experience for all the children attending.
We will make every effort to make ASC a place where your
child(ren) will look forward coming to after a long day at school.
