Physical Education is a part of the curriculum. Each student in K-8 is enrolled in two P.E. class periods a week. P.E. grade is counted toward a student's eligibility to participate in extracurricular activities/sports starting in grade 5.
Middle School Physical Education will help students learn and explore factors that affect a healthy lifestyle. Students will develop muscle strength, cardio-respiratory endurance and flexibility. They will learn offensive and defensive strategies in cooperative sports and games as well as demonstrate safe participation in exercise and sports and how to demonstrate good sportsmanship.
