Confirmation
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Say not I am too young. To whomever I
send you, you shall go, whatever I command you, you shall speak. Have no fear.
Jer.1:5-8
These are words our Lord spoke to Jeremiah, when he told the Lord he was too young
to do his work The St. Mary parish community and staff members are committed
to working with each student as they begin to prepare to receive the sacrament of
Confirmation. As Catholics we too are called by our Lord to do his work throughout our
lives. As students begin their Confirmation preparation they are asked to complete 14
hours of service. Service can be in the parish, or out in the community, at least 2 different
service opportunities must be completed.

Confirmation
Want to show courage? Then when the opportunity comes, stand up to be counted as
a life-long follower of Christ in your Confirmation. Confirmation calls us to stand up
for what is right and just, and begin to bring the message of Hope & Love to the world.
Confirmation candidates are asked to perform 20 hours of service in at least 3 different
ministries, of their choosing.
