St. Mary Religious Education brings the Catholic teachings to children through scripture, prayer, projects and activities. Also included in the St. Mary Religious Education experience is an array of opportunities for the children to live out their faith as a small group, as an individual and in your own Household of Faith.
Three sessions of religious instruction are offered in the parish school building for grades 1-7. Parents can choose to register for Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. or Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. .Children are assigned to small faith sharing groups and are lead by at least one adult Catechist. Kindergarten students meet on Wednesdays from 4:15-5:30 in the Gathering Place, and 8th grade meets on Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the Gathering Place.
The Religious Education year begins with an Opening Mass and Social in mid September and concludes the first week in May with the May Crowing Prayer Service. Small groups and room assignments are listed and posted at the social following the Opening Mass.
