Parish Council In collaboration with the Pastor, the Parish Council assumes the overall well-being of the parish, present and future. Its primary mission is strategic pastoral planning. Its secondary work is consultative, proposing practical solutions to the ongoing life of the parish. Back to Top
 

Administration Committee has the task of planning, providing for and supervising the financial affairs and physical properties of the parish. It is concerned with effective utilization of resources, the budget and church support. Back to top

Building & Grounds Committee inspects structures and equipment and identifies work that needs to be completed. It evaluates vendors, solicits bids and is involved in the decision-making, supervision and control of the work. This committee provides input for the budgetary process and reviews problems concerning buildings and maintenance.

Finance Committee serves as a consultative body to control on-going expenses, increase revenues and monitor the month-to-month financial health of the parish. Responsibilities include reviewing the financial condition of all parish programs to identify budget variances and provide analysis.

Technology Committee  Oversees the administration of the computer network system, e-mail and internet access, as well as troubleshooting network problems and individual workstation issues. Back to Top 

Education and Faith Commission provides for education and spiritual growth opportunities through St. Mary's School and Religious Education Programs. Back to Top

Adult Faith Formation nourishes the continual growing faith of the adult community through a broad offering of programs and the Parish Mission.

 Book Discussion Group meets on a regular basis to discuss and review select books with fellow parishioners.

Educational Seminars

 

Women's Bible Study is an opportunity to grow in faith and knowledge of scripture. It is a relaxing atmosphere that provides practical, biblical perspectives on life.  Back to Top

Evangelization Commission promotes faith-sharing, hospitality and acts of kindness as basic evangelization. Its purpose is to promote opportunities for parishioners and inactive Catholics to grow in their faith.   Back to Top

 Service Commission

 

CCW (Council of Catholic Women)This organization is part of a Diocesan network whose objective is to give women of the parish an opportunity to advance spiritually and meet socially through a variety of programs and committees.

 

Family Crisis Fund assists St. Mary's parishioners in a confidential manner, who are in need due to emergency, traumatic, life-changing events. This may include serious illness, long-term job loss, divorce or domestic violence.

Fellowship Committee Socials are hosted by various parish groups on the fourth Sunday of certain months in "The Gathering Place". Parishioners are encouraged to share the bond of community and conversation.

Welcome Newcomers

PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)Ecumenical program provides shelter and hot meals to the homeless in our area. Volunteers host guests Friday nights in The Gathering Place from September, after Labor Day and continue through July.

Scouts offer fun and enriching programs for children Kindergarten and up providing for positive character development. - BOYS: Tiger, Cub & Boy Scouts - GIRLS: Daisy, Brownies, Juniors, Cadets

St. Vincent DePaul ministers to those in need. In a confidential manner, all members of the community who require assistance are provided food, housing, clothing and other necessities to maintain a dignified existence. Clothing drives are organized in the fall and the spring. The Adopt-a-Family program provides food and gifts for approximately 100 families each Christmas.  Back to Top

Stewardship Commission fosters an environment of gratitude by providing opportunities of sharing our many blessings and talents. This committee heightens our awareness and education of Stewardship in everyday life. Back to Top
