Started back in 1987 adult and families members from St Mary’s have been going down to McCreary County located in the Appalachian area of Kentucky helping the less fortunate with such projects as home repair, painting , cleaning and even building new homes during the summer.

Other projects during the year are a shoe drive done by the Religious Education children from the parish. As well as a Christmas Gift drive which supplies about 200 children with Christmas gifts which consist of clothing.
