Welcome Alumni!

For over 120 years, St. Mary of Gostyn School has been providing a Catholic education, rich in tradition and excellence.  During that time, there have been numerous additions and changes to the School, Parish, and Campus to provide the space for our continued growth and exceed the demands of current educational standards with a focus on our priorities.

Most recently, our focused initiative has been to invest in technology for our students and teachers.  In July of 2011, we deployed this new website.  In addition, we currently have Smartboards in 14 out of 20 classrooms, and the 2011 - 2012 school year is our pilot year for 1:1 Technology for our 8th Graders.  Each 8th Grader will receive an his/her own laptop for utilization during the entire school day and at home.  The laptops will contain their textbooks, notetaking software, and will allow students to become familiar with the software used in high school; thereby preparing them well for their future.  Our teachers will learn how to incorporate this software in their curriculum to ensure that the greatest value is achieved.

The continuous evolution of our educational goals ensures that we keep our priorities in mind.  Our first priority is to educate and nurture our students with a strong foundation of faith and an excellent educational experience that they will carry with them throughout their life.    This focus has allowed us to continue to offer an excellent academic program in a welcoming community for over 120 years.  You are a part of our history, and we welcome you at any time to come home and see us.
